At Cultural Care Au Pair, we live by one simple philosophy: We believe that cultural exchange makes the world a better place. Our mission is to combine cultural exchange with childcare, creating eye-opening and enriching experiences that change the lives of people from around the world.

Cultural Care in the USA is a designated sponsor of the U.S. Department of State regulated J-1 visa program. We take our responsibility to heart and follow the strict guidelines set to us as a sponsor. We believe in going the extra step to ensure the safety of all our participants – we’re the only au pair agency to require criminal background checks for both au pairs and host families, and we require face to face contact with our au pairs and Local Childcare Consultants on a monthly basis.

We believe that before you embark on your journey as an au pair, you should have the chance to speak with someone who has done it before you. This is why we have extensive training resources and preparation materials. It’s also why we hire many former au pairs to work in our offices, and guarantee that every au pair gets a designated au pair buddy before departure.
